A Lively Learning Experience

Busy Otters is a local run preschool for Ottery St Mary and surrounding community.

The committee run group was first registered in 1987, and has recently become a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO).

We are a registered charity, number 1177677 (CIO)/ 1023260 (Old organisation), and our accounts can be found here.

Our governing document uses the Early Year's Alliance (formerly Preschool Alliance) model constitution, a copy of which is here.

Our Ofsted number is EY560108 / EY421724 and our latest inspection report can be found here. Please note that this shows the setting as "closed" - this is not actually the case! But instead as a consequence of becoming a CIO we have a new number EY560108.

OUR SESSIONS

Our sessions are run between 0915 and 1515 Monday-Friday Term Time only.

We are able to take children from 2 years and offer up to 30 hours funded childcare per week, subject to eligibility.

MEET OUR GOVERNING COMMITTEE

The trustees act as the governing body for the preschool, and the committee help organise fundraising.
We are all parents of current and/or past Busy Otters pupils.
We volunteer our time for free because we want to help make this setting the best as possible!
